DESCRIPTION
Little Bear’s drinking shrubs are made by hand, in small batches, on the lavender farm. A shrub (also called a drinking vinegar) is a tangy-sweet syrup made from fruit, herbs, sugar, and vinegar. Mix it with sparkling water for a refreshing soda alternative, or stir it into cocktails and mocktails for balanced, complex flavor.
We start with naturally grown culinary lavender and organic herbs, then blend them with organic sugar, raw honey, white balsamic vinegar, and raw organic apple cider vinegar (with the mother). No artificial flavors, no colors, no concentrates.
HOW TO ENJOY
- Shrub soda: 1 part shrub to 4 to 5 parts sparkling water over ice
- Mocktails: shake with citrus, tea, or tonic for an alcohol-free drink with real depth
- Cocktails: pair with gin, vodka, bourbon, tequila, or prosecco
- Still water or iced tea: add a splash for flavor
- Beyond drinks: drizzle over salads, fruit, yogurt, or ice cream, or use in marinades and glazes

FAQ
What is a shrub?
A shrub, or drinking vinegar, is a sweet-tart syrup made from fruit, herbs, sugar, and vinegar. It has been used for centuries as a refreshing drink base.
Does it taste like vinegar?
It has a pleasant tang, but the fruit, herbs, and sweetness balance it. Most people compare it to a tart, fruity soda.
Is it alcoholic?
No. Our shrubs are non-alcoholic and make excellent mocktails, but they also pair well with spirits.
How do I use it?
Start with 1 part shrub to 4 to 5 parts sparkling water, then adjust to taste.
How long does it last?
Refrigerate after opening and use within 6 months.
Why is there sediment?
Our shrubs are made with real fruit and herbs, so natural settling is normal. Shake gently before use.
